As Long as you
Learn the Lesson!
Welcome
It is inevitable that every human being will experience some form of loss during a lifetime - loss of a relationship, loss of economic resource, loss of health, loss of a loved one - the list is endless. Tragedy has many faces and comes in various sizes, shapes, and colors. Nevertheless, each brings with it the same feelings of Helplessness and Hopelessness - and the questions are always the same:
- Why is this happening to me?
- What did I do to deserve this?
- Where is God when I need him most?
I know this to be true because I am a victim (and survivor) of cancer. I asked these same questions and more. The answers weren't always what I wanted or expected. I discovered that the "bad things" we experience almost always include a test; a test of character, a test of patience, a test of endurance, a test of courage, a test of faith, etc; that the test is always multiple choice, and it is always "open book". Failure to learn the lessons provided in this classroom called life generally means one thing - having to take the test, again!
Here I share the results of my battle against a chronic disease with the goal of providing Help and Hope to those who might not believe God sees, cares, understands - or even exists.
